The war had been going on without any stop. While the Troy soldiers were making great efforts to keep the Greek soldiers of the shore, they realized movements. They couldn't believe in their eyes when they saw the peak, off the shore. A troop, consisting of hundreds of horsemen and a war chariot ridden by a commander on the front were coming towards them through the shore. A Troy soldier spoke to the one fighting near him: "Watch out that!" When the soldier looked at that direction and saw it, his jaw dropped. It was impossible to be ignorant to that troop with horses. Everybody knew that the troop with horses that ran flying their brilliant manes were Lycians. The soldiers of Lycia troop, commaned by King Sarpedon, rushed into the enemy and started fighting all at the same time. Their shining bronze armors were easily distinguished from the other armors that were covered with blood.
